Physical Planners Association sets October 29 and 30 for Third AGM in Kumasi

Sunyani (Bono), Oct. 1, GNA – The Local Government Service Association of Physical Planners (LoGSAPP), says it has set October 29 and 30, 2026 for its Third Annual General Meeting and Conference in Kumasi.  

Mrs Gifty Nyarko, the National President of LoGSAPP told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview in Sunyani, asking all members to prepare for the event.  

She said the event would be held on the theme: “Strengthening Spatial Planning for Disaster Risk Prevention, Reduction, Resilience and Sustainable Infrastructure Delivery in Ghana”.  

Mrs Nyarko explained that the ceremony would also be attended by stakeholders, traditional authorities, government officials, Associations and disability organisations.  

Other attendees would be drawn from the security agencies, and institutions like the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO).  

Mrs Nyarko described the conference as timely, saying that participants would brainstorm and develop a long-term workable plan for the country’s spatial sector as well as managing disasters proactively.
