Nkroful (W/R), Oct. 24, GNA – Mr Haruna Moro Azika, Western Regional Organiser hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has appealed to aspirants contesting for executive positions in the party’s regional elections to accept the outcome of the polls.
Mr Azika, who is currently the Shama Constituency Chairman of the NDC, said a win for the newly elected executives was a win for the party.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by Mr Azika and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA).
Mr Azika expressed optimism that delegates would crown him with victory at the end of the polls.
Mr Azika joined the NDC in 2002 as branch organiser at the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency and later served as Deputy Constituency Youth Organiser for eight years.
He later became the substantive Youth Organiser for another eight years.
He subsequently transferred his vote to Shama where he became the Constituency Chairman for eight years, during which the party won the parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The Shama Constituency Chairman reminded delegates of his hardwork, dedication to duty and organisational acumen, which he said had prepared him to propel the party to victory in 2028.
He advised candidates who would emerge as winners to bring on board those who might lose the elections as major stakeholders to help propel the party to victory in 2028.
