Tehran, Aug 16 (dpa/GNA) – The Iranian army has offered a bounty worth almost $30,000, for every US soldier killed or captured, according to a report by the Avash news portal.
According to the report, twice as much would be paid to women who capture or kill US soldiers. The bounty was said to have been offered by Amir Hatami, commander-in-chief of Iran’s army.
It comes amid ongoing military tensions between the United States and Iran. In recent weeks, both sides have repeatedly violated a framework agreement from June 17, which provided for a permanent end to the war on all fronts.
