Accra, Oct. 6, GNA – The Ayawaso East Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has pledged to work with the party’s new national leadership to deepen internal democracy and strengthen grassroots cohesion.
The constituency said it would collaborate with the national executives to improve communication, deepen engagement and rebuild members’ confidence in the party.
In a congratulatory statement issued in Accra and signed by the Constituency Secretary, Mr Michael Danquah, the constituency said the election reflected the trust and confidence delegates reposed in the new leadership.
“We are confident that, under your collective leadership, the party will emerge stronger, more united, more responsive, and better positioned for the task ahead,” the statement said.
The NPP elected its national executives at a national delegates’ conference in Kumasi last Saturday, with more than 6,000 delegates participating.
Mr John Boadu was elected National Chairman, while Mr Justin Kodua Frimpong retained his position as General Secretary. Madam Hawa Koomson was elected National Women’s Organiser.
Mr Danquah said the constituency looked forward to working with the National Executive Committee (NEC) to strengthen the party at the grassroots, improve communication and promote internal unity.
“As a constituency, we look forward to working closely with the National Executive Committee in strengthening the party from the grassroots, deepening internal unity, improving communication, and rebuilding the confidence of our members and supporters across the country,” he said.
