Accra, June 9, GNA – The Chief Bishop-elect, Bobby Harley-Neequaye, has assured members of the Faith Evangelistic Mission Worldwide (FEMW) and the public of prudent and faithful stewardship as he assumes leadership of the Church.

Delivering his induction address at the church on Sunday, Chief Bishop Harley-Neequaye pledged to discharge his duties with “integrity, obedience and a sincere desire to glorify and honour God.”

He described his elevation as a solemn call to service and responsibility rather than a position of status.

The induction ceremony, attended by the clergy, church leaders and congregants, marked his formal assumption of office as the substantive General Overseer of FEMW for a four-year term.

Chief Bishop Harley-Neequaye was inducted alongside the Secretary of the Church, Apostle Enoch Nii Klotey Clottey, who will also serve a four-year term.

The Chief Bishop-elect underscored the need for Christian leadership to remain firmly grounded in service, cautioning against the temptation to pursue recognition at the expense of spiritual focus.

He added that the success of his tenure would depend on collective effort and unwavering trust in God.

The new leader assured the Church of transparency, accountability and inclusiveness in his administration, noting that he would work closely with clergy and leadership bodies to advance the mission of the Church.

He called for unity among members, stressing that when one is called to serve, others are equally called to support the work of God.

“I assure you that I shall commit myself to carrying out the duties entrusted to me with integrity,” Chief Bishop Harley-Neequaye said.

He expressed gratitude to the clergy, councils and the entire Church and his family for their prayers, encouragement and confidence in him, and appealed for continued support as he undertakes his new role.

The leader reiterated his commitment to building on the legacy of the Church, strengthening its structures and ensuring that its mission continued to impact lives positively.
