Jinijini, (Bono), Sept. 28, GNA-The Berekum West District Assembly in the Bono Region has been ranked as the second-best performing Assembly in the Bono Region.
According to the 2025 Annual District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT X) evaluation, the Ministry of Local Government had a total score of 60 points after Berekum East Assembly which obtained 65 points.
Mr Collins Asoma, the Berekum West District Chief Executive, attributed the feat to hard work, good leadership, and effective utilisation of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) as well as general commitment to public service delivery.
Mr Asoma also expressed appreciation to the traditional authorities and all the stakeholders in the district for their cooperation and contributions towards the holistic development of the district.
He said the assembly had successfully completed and handed over for use 50 out of the 70 development projects, earmarked in 2025,
