CLOGSAG Oti chairmanship hopeful pledges stronger advocacy and fair representation

Dambai (O/R), June 17, GNA – Mr Prince Latif Oyekunle, a hopeful for the Oti Regional Chairmanship of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG), has pledged to strengthen advocacy and promote fairness for members if elected. 

In a statement made available to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr Oyekunle said his aspiration to lead the Association was driven by a commitment to transparency, probity, accountability and the welfare of civil and local government staff in the Region. 

He said effective advocacy remained essential in addressing the concerns of members and improving their conditions of service. 

“Strengthening advocacy and securing fairness will be at the core of my leadership. Every member deserves to be heard and to benefit from a responsive Association,” he stated. 

Mr Oyekunle said he would work to deepen member participation in the affairs of CLOGSAG and ensure that the Association continued to serve as a strong and united voice for its members across the Oti Region. 

He expressed confidence that collaborative leadership and active engagement would help advance the interests of members and strengthen the Association. 

The chairmanship hopeful appealed to members for their support, prayers and votes ahead of the Association’s regional elections in 2026. 

CLOGSAG is the recognised trade union representing civil and local government staff nationwide and is mandated to promote and protect the interests and welfare of its members.
