Lands Commission: Adansi Bonah assumes role as Deputy Executive Secretary

Accra, June 12, GNA – The Management of the Lands Commission has officially welcomed Mr Emmanuel Adansi Bonah, to assume the role as Deputy Executive Secretary in charge of Corporate Services.

In his new role, Mr Bonah is expected to contribute significantly to the Commission’s transformation agenda, with a focus on operational efficiency, transparency, and strategic corporate governance.

He brings to the Commission more than 23 years of experience in Ghana’s cocoa industry, the commodities market, and public administration.

His appointment is expected to inject new energy and strategic direction into the Commission’s corporate service relations.

Mr Bonah was introduced to management members of the Commission by Professor Anthony Owusu-Ansah, the Commission’s Acting Executive Secretary, during a brief ceremony held at the Lands Commission corporate headquarters in Accra on Wednesday, June 11.

Prof. Owusu-Ansah offered a warm welcome remark, providing a concise overview of the Commission’s structure, operations, and ongoing priorities.

Mr Bonah has previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Tower Assets Limited, during his tenure leading the company to financial independence and significantly scaled up its operations.

His career also provided him the opportunity to offer leadership roles at the Splendid Business Service Limited and Progressive Licensed Cocoa Buyers Association, where he built an enviable reputation for turning its operations around for the better, empowering staff, and delivering measurable growth.

Mr Bonah is a strong advocate of good governance, with his expertise cutting across policy development, human resource management, stakeholder engagement, and institutional reform.

His educational background includes an MBA in International Business from Schiller International University (USA), a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics & Sociology from the University of Cape Coast, and professional studies with ACCA (UK).

He has also represented Ghana at several international conferences on commodity trading, sustainability, and labour development.

Mr. Bonah is deeply committed to innovation, public service, and inclusive national development.

The Acting Deputy Executive Secretary in charge of Operations, Mr Anthony Mallen Ntiador, together with other management members, took turns to express their commitment to working with him as a team to fulfill the Commission’s mandate of ensuring effective land administration and institutional transformation.

The Commission is hopeful that Mr Bonah will impact his visionary leadership in the years ahead.
