Rio de Janeiro, Oct 25. (Xinhua/GNA) – Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Brazilian President, declared victory in the country’s presidential runoff on Sunday night, saying that “this country is nobody’s backyard.”
Speaking in Sao Paulo, southern Brazil, Lula thanked the Brazilian people for their support in helping him overcome foreign interference in the election.
He emphasised the need to strengthen regulation on digital platforms.
