Northern Region
A total of 410 delegates are expected to cast their votes, with 33 candidates contesting for various Regional Executive positions in Saturday’s Regional Delegates Conference.
Oti Region
Voting started at 0840 hours at the Jasikan Diocesan Formation and Counseling Centre, Nsuta-Buem.
Present were Candidates Agents, EC Officials and heavy presence of Police personnel.
Ashanti Region
Less than 50 of the 1,020 expected delegates had cast their ballots as of 1000 hours at the Jubilee Park in Kumasi.
The election is being contested by 34 candidates.
The two candidates contesting the chairmanship position are believed to be engaged in last-minute efforts to woo delegates and secure their votes.
