Anloga (V/R), May 28, GNA – Mr Wisdom Bondieu Seade, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Keta, has led the management team of the Keta Municipal Assembly on an inspection tour of ongoing development projects across selected communities within the municipality.
The tour, part of routine monitoring and evaluation activities, began at Abutiakope and extended through Anlo-Afiadenyigba, Tegekope, Atiavi-Atime and concluded at Seva, all within the Keta Municipality.
At each project site, the team conducted a detailed inspection of ongoing works, followed by a review meeting to assess challenges and outline the way forward for improved execution and delivery.
Mr Seade expressed satisfaction with the level of progress recorded across all visited sites, describing the quality of work as encouraging.
He noted that the kindergarten (KG) block at Anlo State School in Abutiakope has been fully completed, while a three-unit classroom block at Atiavi-Atime has also been completed, with other projects progressing steadily to roofing level.
Earlier, he led engineers to the Keta Main Market to assess the severe flooding situation affecting the market first hand.
The MCE stressed the need for strict supervision and continuous monitoring by engineers to ensure quality delivery and value for money on all projects.
“Contractors must strictly adhere to contractual specifications and timelines to guarantee timely completion of ongoing developments for the benefit of residents,” he said.
The visit forms part of efforts by the Municipal Assembly to strengthen accountability, improve project supervision, and accelerate infrastructure development across communities in the municipality.
