Dambai (O/R) May 11, GNA – Mr Bernard Agya Larrey, an aspirant for the position of Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Krachi East Constituency, has pledged to ensure transparency and accountability in the management of party funds if elected.
Speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) ahead of the party’s upcoming constituency executive elections, Mr Larrey said his campaign was grounded in honest and transparent leadership.
“Every Ghana Cedi will be accounted for and used for the benefit of the party and its members. My focus is to manage party funds responsibly and restore confidence in our financial systems,” he stated.
He noted that prudent financial management was essential to strengthening the party’s structures and positioning it effectively for future electoral contests.
Mr Larrey, who is seeking to retain the position under the slogan “Maintain Agya Bernard Larrey,” appealed to delegates to renew his mandate to enable him to continue serving the constituency.
The NPP is expected to hold its constituency executive elections in the coming months as part of its internal reorganisation ahead of the 2028 general elections.
