Ajumako (C/R), April 05, GNA – The Entumbil Circuit of the Church of Pentecost in Ajumako climaxed its week-long Easter convention with a spirit-filled service on Sunday to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The ecstatic service was one of testimonies, prophecies, worship, prayers, praises, and dance as scores of worshippers from five assemblies converged to celebrate their salvation.
It was held on the theme: “Experiencing the resurrection power of Jesus.”
Pastor Kwesi Frimpong, the presiding pastor, urged the congregation to anchor their faith in Christ and strive to overcome their challenges just like Christ defeated death to save mankind.
Citing Exodus 33:18 and 19 and Colossians 3:1 to 10, he entreated Christians to suppress their worldly desires and seek God first in all their endeavours.
“Let the resurrection power reflect in your personal lives, in your marriages, in your families, and at your workplaces,” he stated.
“No matter what you face in life, your first point of call must always be God. Never stop yearning for His presence and don’t stop seeking His Kingdom,” Pastor Frimpong stressed.
The service was interspersed with many testimonies from several members who shared their experiences and thanked God for saving them.
