Kamgbunli (W/R), March 21, GNA – Muslims have been urged to stop using the Eid-Ul-Fitr celebrations to engage in drinking of alcohol and anything considered “Haram”.
Such practices have the tendency to mar the Eid celebration and bring the name of the Islamic faith into disrepute.

The District Chief Imam reminded Muslims in the area that, “the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr is not only a period of eating, drinking and merry-making but more importantly, a way to thank God for his mercy, protection and guidance”.
