Sefwi- Asawinso, Feb 22, GNA – Catechist Daniel Opoku of the Ebenezer Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has advised parents, especially fathers, to inculcate good morals in their children and introduce them to Christ at an early age.
This, he said would lay a strong moral foundation in the children.
Speaking at this year’s Children’s Ministry Week celebration under the theme “For the Spirit God Gave us Does Not Make Us Timid, but Gives us Power, Love, and Self-Discipline”.
Catechist Opoku said when children’s foundation was laid on Christ Jesus, they would resist social media influence and temptation.
He emphasised that introducing children to Christ early served as a good foundation that would never shake.
The week celebration included activities such as traditional performances and choreography showcasing Ghana’s rich culture.
The kids were treated with drinks, toffees, and biscuits after the service, presented by some church members.
