Ashaiman, Jan. 01, GNA – Members of Perez Chapel International, Glorious Temple at Ashaiman Official Town, joined the 2025/2026 crossover service through live television broadcast, where Archbishop Charles Agyinasare called for a national moral and leadership turnaround in the New Year.

The members, who gathered at the local assembly, followed the televised sermon delivered by the Founder and Presiding Archbishop of Perez Chapel International, which focused on issues of national concern, including corruption, indiscipline, and environmental degradation.

During the message, Archbishop Agyinasare highlighted the damaging effects of corruption scandals, vote-buying during elections and the destruction of forests and water bodies through illegal mining activities, commonly referred to as galamsey.

He urged believers to take personal responsibility for national renewal by deepening their study of the Bible, engaging in regular prayer, and fasting, practicing generosity, and cutting off negative and toxic influences that undermine moral growth.

The archbishop also stressed the importance of humility and discipline among leaders across all sectors, noting that leadership conduct played a critical role in shaping societal values.

He condemned social practices such as the exploitation of school girls by so-called “sugar daddies”, as well as acts of intimidation and abuse by some security personnel, describing such actions as threats to justice and national cohesion.

Referencing biblical lessons, Archbishop Agyinasare cited Israel’s 70-year captivity as a consequence of disobedience to divine laws, including those governing the land, warning that persistent disregard for moral principles could have long-term consequences for nations.

He called on the Church to take an active role in promoting discipline among the youth, confronting injustice, and contributing to the moral reorientation of society.

Members at the Ashaiman Official Town assembly described the televised crossover service as impactful, noting that the message provided guidance and reflection as they entered the New Year.
