Akatsi (VR), Dec. 01, GNA – Mr Eric Edem Agbana, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ketu North has urged believers of the Christian faith, to put their hope and trust in Jesus Christ, which remains the surest way to secure their future aspirations.

“No matter the challenges and turbulent situations, when you rely on God, no one can overcome you,” he said.

Mr Agbana made the call before a congregation at the Christ Salvation Church of All Nations (CSCOAN) at Akatsi, when he paid a courtesy visit to Prophet Julius Ajavon, the Founder and Leader of the Church, whom he had chosen as one of his spiritual fathers.

The MP acknowledged the grace of God upon his life and stated unequivocally that his accomplishments as a political figure were entirely dependent on God’s great mercies, just as it was in the days of David in the Holy Bible.

He appreciated the grace of God upon Prophet Ajavon and described him as man of God, who stood by him when he needed him most during the days of his Constituency election activities.

“I want to inform you that God has blessed Akatsi, Volta Region, and Ghana at large as well as the entire globe with such a Man of God.”

Mr Agbana also entreated members of the Church and everyone to acknowledge the grace of God upon the Prophet and preserve him through their prayers and other forms of support “because such men are not common. He is a special gift to us.”

He offered a cash donation of Ghc 5,000.00 towards the dedication of the Church’s’ phase one building.

Special prayers, led by Prophet Ajavon, were offered for Mr Agbana and his entourage for safe keeping throughout their endeavors.

Mr Agbana later moved to Dzodze Tornu for the annual Gloto, the biggest Catholic gathering in the Southern Volta, where he attended the graduation event of three seamstresses who had completed their apprenticeships at Dzodze Lorne.

The MP also visited the Dzodze Global Evangelical Church, where eight young ladies graduated from their decoration training, before proceeding to Tsiyinu for the burial of their late branch treasurer, and finally ending his rounds at Ewu-Kofegame where nine young masons had completed their training and graduating at a colourful ceremony.
