Ho, Dec. 01, 2025, GNA – Christ Family Chapel of the Assemblies of God in Ho has celebrated its 10th anniversary, drawing dignitaries and calls for deeper faith-based contributions to national development.
Mr James Gunu joined the leadership and congregation of the Assemblies of God, Christ Family Chapel – Power House, Ho, as the Church marked its milestone celebration on the theme: “A Decade of God’s Faithfulness.” The anniversary service was characterised by gratitude, worship, and reflection.
The event attracted several distinguished guests, including Mr Eric Teddy Kutortse, Chairman of the First Sky Group, and Mr Divine Dzegbla, special aide to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria, whose presence, according to the Church, added significance to the occasion.
Addressing the congregation, Mr Gunu commended the Church for what he described as its “unwavering commitment to spiritual growth, discipline, community support and the moral development of our people.”
He noted that over the past decade, Christ Family Chapel had become “a pillar of hope and transformation” within Ho and the wider Volta Region.
He said the celebration aligned with former President John Dramani Mahama’s Resetting Agenda, which seeks to restore hope, rebuild systems and renew Ghana’s socio-economic foundation.
“Faith-based institutions like Christ Family Chapel are essential partners in this national vision,” he stated, reaffirming his commitment to strengthening collaboration with religious bodies and traditional authorities.
As part of his support, Mr Gunu made a cash donation to the Church to aid its activities and encouraged members to continue serving as a beacon of unity, faith, and community upliftment.
He extended his congratulations to the leadership and congregation, expressing hope that the next decade would bring greater growth, impact and divine favour to the church and its mission.
