Accra, Nov. 30, GNA – Prophet Michael Elikem Abayateye has been ordained as an Apostle of the Prophetic Release Eagle Ministry at Dansoman in Accra, with a call on him to continue to fulfil the gospel to win more souls for Christ.
The ordination was performed by Bishop Dr Albert Dapatem, the Deputy Prelate of the Dominion College of Bishops, who is also the General Manager of 7DSGhTV and OGM Media Network.
He was supported by Bishop Peter Ebo Koomson, Programmes Director of the Dominion College of Bishops, and other ministers of God.
Bishop Dapatem who made the call urged churches to properly train persons called into the ministry of God to adhere to the teachings and the directions of the Bible so they would not mislead their followers.
Apostle Nana Yaw Akrofi Ayisi Jnr, the General Overseer of the Prophetic Release Eagles Ministry, in a sermon testified about Apostle Abayateye for his loyalty to the service of God.
“When I asked him, do you also want to go as others were leaving? Then he asked, to go to where? Because in your destiny, I found my destiny; in your calling, I found my calling; in your peace, I found my peace; and in your worry, I found my worry.”
Apostle Ayisi urged Christians to avoid doing eye-service in the work of God, “But rather do the work of God as nobody was watching you. God rewards loyalty and faithfulness with honour, 1st Samuel 2:30.”
“So, Apostle Abayateye, because of the honour that you’ve given to God in His work and the honour you’ve given to me as your Spiritual Father, God has given you the sword, but there is one thing I want to tell you as you have been called to the high office of Apostleship.
“A new call, a new battle, a new call, a new challenge, a new call, a new hatred; if people hated you, they will hate you more, if people misunderstood you, they will not understand you at all – but in all, maintain the act of faithfulness that will carry you to your final destination.”
Apostle Abayateye expressed gratitude to the Almighty God for His grace and mercy that had qualified him for the sacred office while thanking his Spiritual Father, Apostle Ayisi Jnr for his guidance and leadership that had opened the door of honour to him.
He also extended gratitude to the bishops who consecrated him and his family members for their unwavering support.
Apostle Abayateye said, “One truth stands unshaken; faithfulness in service has no replacement. Faithfulness is valued far above giftedness. A gifted man may be celebrated, but it is the faithful man whom God can trust, lift, and establish.
“If there is one thing I have learned on this path, it is that service truly pays. When you serve your leader or father as unto the Lord, you serve with sincerity, joy, and unwavering loyalty.”
He said, “As I chart this new Apostolic path, I humbly ask the Lord for greater mercy and grace, wisdom, and favour, divine guidance and empowerment – that I may finish strong and finish great in all that my Master demands of me.”
