Taviefe Dzefe (V/R), Oct. 14, GNA – The Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana at Taviefe Dzefe in the Ho Municipality will on November 2, 2025, celebrate its golden jubilee.
The weeklong celebration is on the theme “I will sing to the Lord with joy, for He has done great things for us.”
Reverend Richard Mawutor Buamah, Chairman of the Planning Committee disclosed this to the media in an engagement at Taviefe Dzefe in the Ho Municipality on Monday.
He disclosed that the congregation was established in 1971 by a small group of determined believers who sought to worship independently from Taviefe Avenya and Taviefe Aviefe.

The Chairman stated that the congregation has since grown from humble beginnings under trees and classrooms into a vibrant and dynamic church community with a permanent chapel, dedicated leadership and thriving ministries.
He said over the past five decades, the Church has been a beacon of hope, faith, education, and community development.
“Through trials, perseverance and divine guidance the congregation has witnessed God’s unfailing grace and produced Pastors, Catechists, Teachers and other professionals who continue to impact the Church and nation,” he stated.
Rev. Buamah said the Church’s enduring legacy included the formation of musical and fellowship groups that enriched its worship experience.
He intimated that the congregation’s collective unity and sacrifice were notably reflected in the construction and continued expansion of its chapel as an enduring monument of faith and dedication.
The Planning Committee Chairman noted that the celebration of the golden jubilee would serve as a time of deep thanksgiving and renewal of faith emphasizing that “the Lord has indeed done great things for us.”
“The golden jubilee stands not only as a celebration God’s faithfulness but also as a renewed call to mission, unity and service in the years ahead,” he said.
Rev. Buamah extended an open invitation to all members of the EPCG, indigenes of Taviefe and well-wishers to join them for the Thanksgiving and fundraising service on November 2, this year to climax the week-long celebration.
