Dambai (O/R,) May 16, GNA – The National Commission for Civil Education (NCCE) in Krachi East Municipality paid a courtesy call to the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr. Safo Nketia.
The visit aimed to congratulate him on his appointment and strengthen the relationship between the NCCE and the Assembly.
Mr. Clement Kwesi Mamadu, Municipal Director of NCCE, reaffirmed their commitment to promoting civic education and good governance in the Municipality.
Mr. Mamadu commended the Krachi East Municipal Assembly for its support in their collaborative efforts.
Speaking about past collaboration between the two institutions, Mr Mamadu highlighted key activities, which included a successful parliamentary dialogue, citizenship week celebration, school quiz competition, among other things.
He emphasized NCCE’s extensive outreach strategies, noting that their efforts go beyond traditional media platforms to engage citizens and promote civic education.
Mr Mamadu said the NCCE’S work aimed to educate citizens on their rights and responsibilities, promoting good governance and community development in the Municipality.
Mr. Safo Nketia expressed gratitude for the NCCE’s role in educating citizens on their civic rights and responsibilities and assured the Commission of his full support.
He expressed assembly readiness to support NCCE’s activities, promoting civic values, deepening democracy and fostering Community development in Krachi East.
The NCCE looks forward to a fruitful working relationship with the Krachi East Municipal Assembly, deepening collaboration to enhance civic engagements among citizens and promote community development.
