Moscow, Sept 9 (RIA Novosti/GNA) – Brazil’s exports of animal feed to Russia in the first eight months of 2026 reached $13.8 million, an increase of 5.9 times compared to the same period last year, according to data from the Brazilian statistical service studied by RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
At the same time, exports in August amounted to $1.4 million, which is 17.9 times more than in August 2025, but 42% less than in July.
In total, Brazil exported $52.7 million worth of animal feed in August.
Most of it was acquired by Chile ($6.8 million), Paraguay ($4.97 million), Uruguay ($4.7 million), Colombia ($4.5 million), and Argentina ($3.9 million). Russia is in 12th place, the data showed.
