Accra, Aug. 14, GNA – Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC has announced the appointment of Mrs. Elsie Enninful-Adu as a Non-Executive Director of its Board, effective August 3, 2026, following approval by the Bank of Ghana.
A statement from the Bank copied to the Ghana News Agency said Mrs. Enninful-Adu brings over three decades of experience in the financial services sector, spanning investment management, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, capital markets, credit risk, strategic planning, advisory services and sustainable investment.
She has more than 20 years of executive-level experience and extensive exposure to Board governance and regulatory matters.
She currently serves as Executive Director of Parkstone Capital, where she leads advisory services for clients in the financial, legal, education, and hospitality sectors.
She previously worked as Team Lead of the Ghana CARES Guarantee Scheme (GCGS) under GIRSAL Limited, where she helped establish operational systems and frameworks and oversaw the assessment and processing of credit guarantee applications.
Her earlier career includes senior roles in strategic planning, money markets, corporate finance, and advisory services.
Mrs. Enninful-Adu holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham, and a Bachelor of Commerce with a Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast.
She is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) of the National Association of Certified Valuators & Analysts (NACVA), USA, and has completed several courses offered by the Ghana Stock Exchange.
Mr. Jonathan Prince Cann, Chairman of the Board of Republic Bank, said Mrs. Enninful-Adu’s appointment would strengthen the Bank’s governance and strategic direction. Dr. Benjamin Dzoboku, Managing Director, also welcomed her to the Board, noting her broad expertise and leadership experience.
The appointment forms part of Republic Bank’s efforts to enhance its leadership capacity and governance structures as it pursues its strategic growth agenda within Ghana’s financial sector.
