Aflao (V/R), Aug.22, GNA – Mr Emmanuel Coffie Nyatsikah, the immediate past Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ketu South Constituency in the Volta Region, has called for reconciliation, forgiveness and unity among members of the party in the constituency.
He said as a former Constituency Chairman, he extended an apology to anyone he might have offended in the course of his duties, particularly during the party’s most recent constituency election, and asked for forgiveness from all who felt wronged.
Mr Nyatsikah said this during his 50th birthday celebration and, further stated that he had forgiven anyone who may have offended him during his tenure as Chairman, and hold no grudges and remained open to reconciliation with every member of the party in the area.
“I thank God for 50 years of life journey, my gesture and my messages are clear to motivate for the need to promote unity and strengthen the NPP ahead of the 2028 general election, it is a must win contest for the party and we need to be more united for the task ahead,” he said.
According to him, Ketu South has an important role to play in helping the New Patriotic Party (NPP) achieve victory in the 2028 general elections, and it could only be realised if members set aside their differences and grievances and work together as one family.
He expressed the hope that, moving forward, the party members would have to put aside past disagreements for the good of the constituency and the party for victory 2028.
“Opinions they say are like noses, we might not agree to some decisions but that must not bring confusion and division among us, i urge all members and supporters to rebuild trust among themselves and work collectively towards the progress of the NPP in Ketu South.”
He thanked everyone who extended goodwill to him on his birthday and offered prayers for both Ketu South and the NPP and called for God’s blessing and interventions for the success of the party in Ketu South.
Some other members of the party also told the Ghana News Agency that, Nyatsikah’s call for reconciliation during his 50th birthday celebration has been welcomed to promote peace, forgiveness and renewed unity within the NPP in Ketu South ahead of the crucial 2028 general election.
