Hohoe (V/R), July 13, GNA – Mr Prosper Kumi, the Hohoe Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), has presented mono desks to schools in the Municipality to enhance teaching and learning.
The 1,600 desks presented to 40 schools were funded by the District Assemblies Common Fund’s component for furniture.
Mr Kumi said the presentation was accountable for the judicious use of the Fund and additionally, procurement had been done for tables and chairs for kindergarten learners of about 12 schools.

Mr Kumi said the provision of tables and chairs for teachers was also under consideration while plans were being made for the provision of modern cupboards for schools, to keep learning materials safe.
