Sekondi-Takoradi supporters in high spirits ahead of Ghana, Croatia clash

Sekondi (W/R), June. 27, GNA- A cross-section of residents in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis, have expressed optimism ahead of the Black Stars match against Croatia.  

In an interview with some residents in the metropolis, they expressed confidence in the Black Stars, referring to their first two group stage matches against Panama and England.  

Mr. Jacob Inkoom, a die hard supporter of the national team, said he was positive that the boys would not disappoint and that they would surely qualify to the round of 32 and hopefully make it to the quarter finals of the tournament. 

“I admired the enthusiasm and energy against Panama and England, and I have confidence in the fact that enough preparations had been made to win against Croatia tonight”, he noted. 

Mr. Baba Issaka also shared the similar opinion and hoped for victory against Croatia. 

He also commended the Black Stars’ coach, Carlos Queiroz, for a good work done so far together with all crew members. 

Others wearing jerseys expressed joy and have positioned themselves in a celebratory mood even before the start of the game declaring victory for the team.
