Bechem (Ahafo), June 8, GNA-Miss Nancy Arthur, the Headmistress of the Presbyterian Senior High School at Bechem in the Ahafo Region has advised final year students of the school to be guided by the Presbyterian principles and values imbibed in them.

She urged them to cherish, uphold, and maintain integrity, discipline, perseverance, and excellence and to impact society positively as they leave the school to pursue their education and career paths.

Ms Arthur gave the advice when addressing the 2026 Annual Commendation Service organised by the school authorities for the final year students at Bechem in the Tano South Municipality.

She entreated them to brace themselves up for the pressures and challenges that awaited them and to overcome those emerging challenges, saying that with determination, hard work, and perseverance they could be successful in life.

Ms Arthur said the event was organised annually to commend deserving students, urging the final year students to “come back here, and share your success stories with us, because, once a Noble, always a NOBLE”.

Alhaji Collins Dauda, the Member of Parliament for Asutifi South in the region, urged the students to stay away from substance abuse and illicit drug use and other social vices that could ruin their future.

Instead, he advised them to remain focused on building a better future for themselves and their families.

The Reverend Gilbert Ntow Asare, the School’s Chaplain advised the final year students to avoid bad peers and channel their energies into productive activities.

A total of 1,161 students comprising 781 males and 380 females of the school attended the service with the deserving ones receiving awards for their hard work and discipline during their three-year stay in the school.
