Accra, May 4, GNA – Mr. Joseph Kojo Attigah, retired Director in Charge of Justice Administration at Department of Social Welfare and Chief Executive Officer of JackleeTV & Radio (Online) has donated a smart Television and Projector to the Department
The donation is the first its kind from a retired staff member. Mr Attigah said the gesture was motivated by his experience of logistical challenges during training sessions for Probation Officers while in active service
Dr. Prince Boamah Abrah, Director of Department of Social Welfare, who received the items on behalf of the Department expressed appreciation and pledged that the projector would be used to enhance staff training and public education.
He noted that it was the first time a retired officer had returned to support the Department in this way and encouraged other former staff to follow the example.
Rev. Vida Danquah, Deputy Director of the Justice Administration Directorate, also thanked Mr. Attigah on behalf of staff, describing the donation as timely and helpful to the Directorate’s work.
