Ho, Oct. 3, GNA – The E.P. Church Mawuko Girls Senior High School has inaugurated a reconstituted Board of Governors, to strengthen governance and support the institution’s development.
The ceremony was held on October 2, 2026 at the school’s Dr Mrs Akusika Dzobo Multipurpose Hall under the chairmanship of Mr Francis Yao Agbemadi, a former Volta Regional Director of Education.
Mrs Mariam Jemima Akua Adzroe, the Acting Volta Regional Director of Education, delivered the inaugural address, urging stakeholders, including old students, to support the school’s growth and development.
She called for collective commitment from the wider community, to enhance the institution’s capacity to provide quality education.
The incoming Board members were sworn into office by Reverend C.S.P. Akuamoah-Boateng (Rtd.), the Ho East Presbytery Synod Moderator, formally marking the beginning of their tenure.
Rev. Akuamoah-Boateng charged the members to discharge their responsibilities diligently and contribute their best towards the overall development of the school.
The school expressed appreciation to the outgoing Board for its dedicated service and welcomed the new members to work with management towards achieving its educational objectives.
The institution reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality, holistic education in a disciplined environment, guided by its motto: “Educate a Woman for the Nation.”
