Adaklu Kodzobi (V/R), May 23, GNA – Hope in Christ, a Christian non-government organisation on Friday rounded up a three-day crusade with the inauguration of their Adaklu Kodzobi branch of widows’ association.
The crusade was on the theme “Encounter with Jesus.”
Prophet Joseph Adigbli, a Zonal Coordinator of the Organization inaugurating the association stated that their core mandate was to win souls for Christ and care for widows and destitutes in society.
He disclosed that currently they were caring for over 3,000 widows in the Greater Accra, Eastern, Ashanti, Volta regions of Ghana and parts of the Republic of Togo.
Prophet Adigbli stated that they provided the widows with food items and other items monthly and shared the Word of God with them.
He encouraged the well to do in society to extend a helping hand to the needy in their communities saying, “God blessed you to be a blessing to others.”
The prophet encouraged the widows to lead healthy lifestyles to stay physically, mentally and spiritually fit and make Jesus Christ their life partner.

Apostle Dr Peter Etse, the Director of Christlike Youth Association, in a sermon reminded the people that Jesus Christ was the answer to their life’s challenges.
He stated that nobody encountered Jesus Christ and remained the same and used biblical examples of the healing of the sick, lame, blind and deaf when they encountered Jesus Christ and even the raising of the dead by Jesus as an example.
The apostle continued that even “hard core criminals” who encountered Jesus Christ had their life stories changed for the better.
He therefore advised Christians not to be satisfied with belonging to Christian denominations (a church) but genuinely surrender their lives to Jesus Christ to find answers to even “generational problems.”
A lot of souls surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ at the crusade.
As part of the crusade, Hope in Christ organized vocational training and health screening for the people.
