Kadema (U/E), March 25, GNA – Mr Robert Akpara Agaab, the Presiding Member (PM) of the Builsa North Municipal Assembly, has donated medicines and clinical consumables to the Kadema Health Centre, to enhance healthcare service delivery.

The donation featured a wide range of essential pharmaceuticals and equipment, including Ceftriaxone, Ciprofloxacin, Intravenous (IV) Metronidazole, Omeprazole capsules, Nifedipine, Promethazine injections, IV infusions, Folic Acid tablets, Diclofenac gel, various sizes of cannulas, syringes, and bulk boxes of gloves.

The gesture was initiated as a strategic move to bolster local healthcare to resolve chronic shortages at the facility and enhance the quality of healthcare delivery within the Municipality.

At a brief presentation ceremony, Mr Agaab, who also serves as the Assembly Member for the Banyansa-Gadem Electoral Area, said the donation was in direct response to an urgent appeal from Mr Lawrence Apam Awaafo, the facility’s Physician Assistant (PA).

Mr Agaab said the intervention was made possible through the support of Mr James Agalga, the Member of Parliament for the area, alongside contributions from various friends and philanthropists.

He expressed his commitment to improve the welfare of the facility and urged the staff to ensure the supplies were utilized effectively for the benefit of patients.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Health Centre, Mr Awaafo expressed his gratitude to the Presiding Member, describing the donation as a “timely intervention” that would significantly alleviate some of the facility’s operational pressures.

He assured the donors that the supplies would be strictly managed, to improve service delivery, and renewed his call for continued support to further enhance the facility’s capacity.
