Kasapin, (Ahafo), March 12, GNA – Chief Inspector Ambrose Obeng Baah, Station Officer at Kasapin Police Station in the Asunafo North Municipality, has appealed for logistical support to improve police operations.
He noted that the station oversees 56 communities and urgently requires a pick-up vehicle, office computers, a printer, and other stationery.
Chief Inspector Baah made the appeal when Mr. Haruna Mohammed, Member of Parliament (MP) for Asunafo North, presented two brand-new motorbikes to the station.
He expressed concern that current logistical challenges were hindering effective crime prevention.
The Station Officer emphasized that modern policing is a collective responsibility and urged public support for police efforts in protecting lives and property.
During a brief ceremony in Kasapin, the MP pledged continued support to enhance police operations in the area.
He said the new motorbikes would help officers respond quickly to crime alerts and improve security in local communities.
Mr. Mohammed also assured the police that he would use his lobbying skills to secure a pick-up vehicle to further strengthen their operational capacity.
