SUSEC Year of Return 2027: Management releases land for standard clinic project

Sunyani, (Bono), Feb. 18, GNA – The Management of the Sunyani Senior High School (SUSEC) has released an acre of land to the organizing committee of the ‘SUSEC Year of Return 2027’ towards the construction of a standard clinic for the school.  
 
The 1999 Year Group of the Sunyani Senior High School (SOSA ’99) unveiled the ‘SUSEC Year of Return 2027’ with a fund-raising rally to mobilise resources from the alumni to put up the clinic to enhance quality healthcare service delivery among the over 4,000 students.  
 
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on the sidelines of a site visit at the school, Miss Millicent Kuma, the Organiser of the Committee work on the clinic project, expected to be completed within 12 months would begin soon.  
 
She said the construction of the clinic formed part of activities lined up for the SUSEC Year of Return 2027 that sought to bring together the SOSA ’99 alumni, home and abroad for them to contribute to the holistic development of the school.  
 
Ms Kuma stressed the alumni’s dedication to give back in ensuring that the school’s academic environment was improved for effective teaching and learning.  
 
She commended the SOSA ’99 alumni for their individual financial contributions, saying that the school required the clinic urgently to meet the health needs of the growing student population.  
 
Mr Gordon Osei Marfo, the Headmaster of SUSEC lauded the vision of the alumni and expressed the hope that the group would expedite action for the construction and completion of the clinic project.
