Dambai (O/R), Jan. 22, GNA – Nana Asate Owusu III, the Paramount Chief of the Adele Traditional Area, has pledged to leverage his connections in the United States to attract investors and support farmers in Nkwanta South Municipality.

The area, which is predominantly farming, has struggled to receive assistance, leaving farmers to struggle.

“I spent most of my life in the US, and I have connections that can change the game for our farmers. We will bring in investors to support our farmers, provide them with the resources they need, and help them increase their produce. We want to make Nkwanta South a hub for agricultural production,” Nana Owusu added.

The newly installed Paramount chief’s vision includes initiatives to improve infrastructure, provide access to modern farming techniques, and create markets for the produce of farmers to produce.

He said he believe that with the right support, the area could become a major player in Ghana’s agricultural sector.

“We want to create Jobs, reduce poverty and improve the lives of our people, I’m committed to making this happen and I’m calling on all stakeholders to join me in these efforts,” Nana Owusu said.

The Adele community has welcomed the Paramount chief’s plans, hoping it would bring about the much-needed development in the area.
