Tema, Jan. 01, GNA – The Apostolic Church has declared 2026 as a year of fruitfulness and increase, urging members to walk in obedience, faith, and trust in God to experience divine prosperity.
Apostle Dr Aaron Ami-Narh, President of the Apostolic Church, made the declaration during the Church’s crossover service, where he encouraged members to thank God for preserving their lives through the previous year and to prepare their hearts to receive His word.
Apostle Dr Ami-Narh said the gathering provided an opportunity for believers to reflect on God’s goodness and faithfulness as they transitioned into the New Year.

Preaching from Genesis Chapter 26, verses 1 to 26, he recounted God’s instruction to Isaac not to go to Egypt but to remain in the land God had shown him, explaining that Isaac’s obedience led him to sow in the land, where he received a hundredfold return and became very prosperous.
He noted that although Isaac encountered opposition, God protected and provided for him in the Valley of Gerar, emphasising that obedience and unwavering trust in God were key to increase and fruitfulness.
Apostle Dr Ami-Narh declared that members of the Church would enjoy the fruits of their own labour as well as the blessings of previous generations in 2026.
He identified fear as a major obstacle to progress and urged believers to overcome it through faith in Jesus Christ, whom he described as the one who removes the burden of past sins and failures.
The sermon ended with a call to repentance, as Apostle Dr Ami-Narh invited those troubled by fear and past actions to give their lives to Christ and accept Jesus as their Lord and personal Saviour.
