Adidome (V/R), Dec. 18, GNA – The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of Wisconsin International University College (WIUC), Accra Campus, has begun consultations with students cited for alleged involvement in examination malpractice in their ongoing examinations.

The SRC said it had been officially notified by the University Administration that some students had been reported for possible breaches of examination regulations and were currently under review by the University Disciplinary Committee.

A statement signed and a copy made available to the Ghana News Agency by Mr Apreku Michael Israel, the SRC General Secretary, said the engagement was aimed at ensuring that affected students were adequately informed and guided on the required procedures ahead of any appearance before the University’s disciplinary authorities.

“The SRC is committed to ensuring that affected students are properly guided on the processes involved,” Mr Israel said.

The statement noted that the University, in line with its commitment to maintaining academic excellence and integrity, treated examination-related infractions with seriousness and followed established procedures in determining appropriate outcomes.

It encouraged students who had been cited or had completed official malpractice statements, to promptly contact the SRC Secretariat for procedural support and clarification.

Affected students were advised to remain attentive to official communication regarding disciplinary processes and to comply strictly with guidelines issued by the Disciplinary Committee.

The SRC assured the student body of its commitment to transparency and fairness, while urging all students to uphold academic integrity as examinations drew to a close.
