Accra, Dec. 16, GNA – The management of 7DSGH TV under the auspices of the Living Yahweh 7Th Day Sabbath Assemblies has held its Season ‘2’ Ahoma Nsia Service Band Show to honour four distinguished personalities who have contributed to Ghana’s development.
The personalities are Madam Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong, Chief Fire Officer, Ghana National Fire Service, and DCOP Dr Frank Hukporti, Director of Bands, Ghana Police Service.
The rest are Okoforogya Nana Dr Dr Albert Brown Gaisie, Patron of Ahoma Nsia Band, and Pat Thomas, known in real life as Nana Kwabena Amo Mensah, the legend musician.


The Ahoma Nsia Service Band Show was started in 2024 by the Living Yahweh 7Th Day Sabbath Assemblies and is being held annually at Anyaa Market in the Ga Central Municipality of the Greater Accra Region to promote cordial relationship and unity among security service personnel and the public.
The 2025 Season ‘2’ musical competition went through a three-month splendid musical performance by the usual service bands of Ghana Armed Forces, the defending champions of Season ‘1’, Ghana Prisons, Ghana Police and the Ghana Fire Service Band.
The Ghana Prisons Band was adjudged first, followed by the Ghana Armed Force, while Ghana Police Band took the third place, and Ghana National Fire Service placed fourth.
They all received a set of musical instruments at a total cost of GHS650,000, donations from the Living Yahweh Sabath Assemblies.
Apostle Philemon Okoh Agyemang, the Leader and Founder of the Living Yahweh Sabbath Assemblies in a speech said music apart from evangelism was used as means to positively transform lives in society and create love.


“As far as the All-Almighty Creator of the universe grants me life, I will make sure I honour people who are alive and have used their creative talents to promote the development of their fellows in society,” he stated.
A citation received by Madam Madam Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong, the Chief Fire Officer, Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) reads, “You are the first woman to lead the GNFS, and the first female Regional Commander in the history of the Service.”
It said in the Volta Region, “You achieved a landmark expansion of operational coverage from 50 per cent to 99 per cent within a year by establishing more than 10 new fire stations.
“As a visionary leader, you are currently championing the development of a Basic Fire Safety curriculum, a partnership between Ulster University, U.K., and the Ghana Education Service aimed at making fire safety a compulsory subject in all basic schools.”
It said, “Apostle Okoh Agyemang, the Executive Board and the Management of 7DS Okogyeaman Radio and TV Media Network Company bestow on you this Special Honour for your contributions to national development. Ayekoo!!!”
DCOP Dr Frank Hukporti, Director of Bands, Ghana Police Service citation states, “You are a distinguished Musicologist, Conductor. Educator, and Cultural Visionary.
“As an innovator, you are celebrated as the Pioneer of the Musical Domestication Agenda, a concept that promotes Ghanaian and African cultural identity through the indigenization of regimental and art music.”
“…Your vision of power of music not only as a tool for artistic expression but also as a medium for peace building and national pride. You have really served Elohim Yahweh and Country.”
For his citation, Okoforogya Nana Dr Dr Albert Brown Gaisie was eulogised and congratulated for his laurels in academic achievements, professionalism in fire management and prevention.
Pat Thomas was described in his citation as a legendary Ghanaian musician, a global ambassador for highlife, vocalist and songwriter with famous distinctive musical voice.
“With your own Sweet Beans Band, you have a career spanning over six decades and your Sika ye Mogya song becoming a major feature in West African music.”
“You have indeed distinguished yourself. You are inspiration to the upcoming generation.
“Legendary Pat Thomas, Apostle Okoh Agyemang, and the entire members of the board, management, and staff of 7DS Okogyeaman Radio and TV Media Network Company say ayekoo for your service to the nation.
The 80-year-old Pat Thomas who also received undisclosed cash and kente cloth from Apostle Okoh Agyemang in an emotional happiness thanked the benefactor for the honour and asked for God’s blessings and long life for him.
