Manso Takorase (Ash), Nov. 20, GNA – The Manso Takorase Afraso community in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region has entered a new phase of digital advancement following the provision of free WiFi services by the Assemblyman, Mr. Dominic Bonsu.

The bold initiative is already being hailed by residents as a significant step toward improving education, communication, and economic activity in the area.

Many rural communities in Ghana continue to struggle with unstable or completely unreliable network connectivity, a challenge that affects students’ academic progress, disrupts business operations, and limits access to important online information and government services.

Mr. Bonsu’s intervention is being celebrated as a timely response to a longstanding problem.

Speaking on the motivation behind the project, the Assembly explained that the absence of reliable internet access had become a major burden on residents, particularly students and business owners who increasingly relied on digital platforms for learning, transactions, and communication.

He noted that the situation pushed him to act to bring relief and opportunity to his people.

The newly installed WiFi system is expected to benefit households across the electoral area, offering students the ability to access online educational materials, research platforms, and virtual learning tools with ease.

Traders and local entrepreneurs also stand to benefit, as improved internet access will support mobile money services, online marketing, and smoother communication with clients and partners.

The introduction of the free WiFi has been widely described as a transformative development for Manso Takorase Afraso.

Residents say it will open new opportunities for the youth, enhance the learning environment, and support economic activities that depend on strong digital connectivity.

They believe the initiative had positioned the community for greater socio-economic growth and improved standards of living.

Experts and development advocates have long emphasized that internet access is no longer a luxury but a necessity for progress.

By bringing reliable connectivity to his electoral area, Mr. Bonsu has demonstrated a strong commitment to development, education, and digital empowerment.

He has also encouraged other leaders and development partners to support similar projects, stressing that expanding connectivity is essential to driving economic growth and community advancement.
