Accra, Aug. 11, GNA – The Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) has released the provisional results of the 2026 May/June Certificate II and other Technical examinations.
A total of 61,506 candidates, comprising 45,157 males and 16,149 females, sat for the examinations, with 36,874 recording general passes.
The CTVET, in a statement signed by its Public Relations Unit, said the number of candidates represented an 11.23 per cent increase over the 55,295 candidates who sat for the examinations in 2025.
It said the general passes represented approximately 62.45 per cent of the total candidates who sat for the examinations.
The statement advised candidates to check their results online at https://examination.ctvet.gov.gh using their Index Numbers and Unique Reference Numbers provided on their index slips.
It said the Certificate II examinations comprised two components: Core Components—English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Social Studies and Entrepreneurship—and Elective Components covering Trade or Professional Area programmes.
The statement said the results of six candidates had been withheld pending further investigations into their involvement in various examination malpractices.
It said that the results of some other candidates had also been withheld due to administrative issues and would be released once the issues had been resolved.
