Dr F.K. Buah eulogised for contributions to development of TEMASCO

Tema, Nov. 23, GNA – The Tema Secondary School Old Students’ Association (TOSA), in collaboration with the Board and Management of the school, has organised the Fourth Dr Francis Kwamina Buah Annual Memorial Lectures to celebrate his legacies and contributions to the development of the school.   

It was on the theme: “The Legacy of Dr F.K. Buah, Celebrated Historian and Eminent Educationist – Takeaways for Shaping the Mindsets of the Youth Towards National Development.” 

Mr Kennedy Gyenfi, a member of TOSA 1975 year group, speaking during the lecture, paid glowing tributes to Dr Buah for his diverse contributions as a celebrated historian, educationist, and a politician who shaped the destiny of TEMASCO.  

He described him as a man of impeccable integrity, a veritable pillar of truth and moral principles, and one who shaped mind-sets towards national development. 

He said Dr Buah as the first Headmaster of TEMASCO in September 1961, developed the school and proved himself to be a competent officer and visionary leader who combined enthusiasm for work with perfect execution of duty. 

Mr Gyenfi said the lecture, served as an avenue for TOSA to pay tribute to the man who was remembered for his humility, integrity, patriotism, and dedication to duty. 

It is also to reflect on his visionary, and sterling leadership qualities.
