Bolgatanga, Sept. 04, GNA – Reverend Eastwood Anaba, the ‘Diakonos’ of Desert Pastures, a branch church of Fountain Gate Chapel (FGC) in Bolgatanga, says the biggest problem of Christians was the disregard for human beings.
He said their biggest problem was not to know God, but to know the value of human beings, who played significant roles to answered prayers.
“You have been crying out to God for help, if you knew the value of the human being by you, God would have answered your prayer long ago, because the answer is in that human being,” he said.
The ‘Diakonos’, who is the President of the Eastwood Anaba Ministries (EAM), said this when he delivered a sermon titled “The Helper,” on the first night of the “Love Revolution” conference in Bolgatanga.
The wee-long conference, an annual event of the FGC, seeks to “turn sinners from darkness to light, teach the nations to observe the commandments of Christ, touch the world with the love of God, train believers in the work of ministry and godly living.”
The “Love Revolution Campaign,” pioneered by the renowned preacher over the years, was intended to ignite the revival of the love of God in the body of Christ.
Reverend Anaba cautioned Christians against turning his statement into a theoretical debate, and told his congregation that “Our long prayers are because we have not identified the human beings God has put the help in.”
According to him, “The Holy Ghost is not in the air. The Holy Ghost who is the helper, dwells in people, and helps us in times of trouble.”
The ‘Diakonos’ emphasized the need for Christians to help each other, saying, “When one of us is in trouble, all of us must be there,” adding that statement such as “God will help you,” would not be fulfilled without human beings.
“When you tell people I’m praying for you, God will help you, how is God going to help me if He does not use you to help me?” he questioned.
Reverend Anaba noted that until people, especially Christians helped each other, they would not get out of situations or troubles they found themselves, and that the grace, faith and power Christians needed in troubling situations dwelled in human beings.
Apart from Reverend Anaba, Reverend Mrs Rosemond Anaba, the Vice President of the EAM and Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah, the Apostle General of the Royalhouse Chapel International, who are the main speakers in the ongoing conference, several ministers of the Gospel are scheduled to speak.
