The foundation will supply teaching and learning materials like textbooks, manipulatives and ICT devices to deprive schools in the municipality as well as provide scholarship packages and financial aid to brilliant, but needy students annually.

Mr Opoku stressed the need to strengthen parent-teacher relationships to promote a more supportive learning environment.

young people remained key to unlocking greater opportunities, potential, and a prosperous future.

Mr Stephen Tia Adams, the Acting Tano North Municipal Director of Education, expressed concern about limited learning resources, high school dropouts and lack of access to technology impeding the holistic growth of education in the area.

He expressed the hope that with the establishment of the foundation those challenges would be tackled to improve education outcomes.
