Beijing, June 17, (dpa/GNA) – At least nine people have been killed in an explosion at a fireworks factory in central China, state media reported on Tuesday.
Twenty-six others were injured, the news agency Xinhua reported, citing local authorities.
The explosion occurred on Monday morning in Linli County in Hunan Province.
An investigation team has also been set up to determine the cause of the accident.
China produces a large proportion of the fireworks traded worldwide.
