Sefwi Bekwai (WN/R), June 9, GNA – Mr Sebastian Obeng, the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), has sent a goodwill message to this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) candidates in the municipality ahead of the examinations on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), the MCE encouraged the candidates to believe in themselves and feel comfortable at the examination hall for the best outcome.
He reminded them that the BECE was an important step in their educational journey and that their hard work would lead them to a brighter future.
“The government is also committed to providing quality educational opportunities to all students as an important step to shaping their life and future,” he added.
Mr Obeng challenged the candidates to excel in the examination to benefit from the Free Senior High School programme.
He advised the candidates to uphold integrity and discipline by not indulging in acts that were against the rules and regulations governing the examination.
He also appealed to the supervisors of the examination at the various centres in the municipality to create an enabling environment for the candidates to give their best.
