Sunyani, Dec. 19, GNA – The Bono Regional office of the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) has honoured four employees of the Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCo) and Ghana Water Limited (GWL) for their outstanding performance in 2024.
At its annual end-of-year dinner, held in Sunyani, the Commission presented citations to the Reverend Jonathan Dugbartey, a station supervisor of NEDCo at the Hwediem office in the Ahafo Region, Madam Zakaria Amiratu, the Customer Relations Officer, NEDCo Sunyani Area, and Mr. Eric Ofori, the Sunyani Area Engineer.
The Commission presented similar citations to Mr Nicholas Nii-Abbey, the Brong-Ahafo Regional Public Relations Officer of the GWCL.
Mr Patrick Antwi, the Bono Regional Manager of the PURC commended the employees for their hard work and dedicated services to the nation and inspired them to continue to work hard.
He also expressed gratitude to all stakeholders, including NEDCo, GWL and the media for their support towards the operations of the commission, saying their contributions had been invaluable in advancing the operations of the commission.
