Nestlé Ghana launches initiative to support children, families

Accra, Oct. 1, GNA – Nestlé Ghana Limited has launched the MILO Energy to Start Promotion, an initiative that seeks to reward consumers while supporting educational opportunities for children and young people across the country.  

The promotion, which runs from September 1 to October 31, 2026, features a range of rewards, including an educational scholarship valued at GH¢300,000, a car, bicycles, refrigerators, smart watches, footballs and cash prizes.  

Mr Myron Otoo, Category Manager for Beverages and Dairy at Nestlé Ghana, speaking at the launch, said the initiative was part of the company’s efforts to appreciate consumers and reinforce its commitment to children and teenagers.  

He said the promotion was expected to reach more than two million consumers and families across Ghana.  

The educational scholarship is intended to support children in their education and development, while the other rewards are aimed at providing benefits and experiences for participating families.  

The promotion is open to persons aged 18 years and above.  

To participate, Mr Otoo said consumers were required to purchase specially marked MILO 400g tins or 20g and 37g sachets carrying the “MILO ENERGY TO START PROMO” inscription.  

Participants, he said could find codes under the peel-off label of the 400g tins or inside the 20g and 37g sachets.  

According to him, participants could submit their codes by dialling the designated free entry number or scanning the QR code on the promotional packs.  

One code from a 400g tin constitutes one entry, use the opportunity to access the educational and other rewards available under the promotion.
