Kadjebi (O/R), Oct. 05, GNA – Mr Kingsley Mamore, a Ghana News Agency (GNA) stringer based at Dambai, in the Oti Regional capital, has survived a motor accident sustaining serious injuries at Dormabin in the Krachi East Municipality.

The accident occurred on October 2, at about 1600 hours, when Mr Mamore and his younger brother, Mr John Yaw Mamore, who was riding the motorcycle, were returning from Atsigodi Kofe, a fishing community near Dormabin to cover the ordination of two Apostles of the Renew Gospel Church International.

He told the GNA that on their return, from the assignment, a young man, believed to be in his twenties, who was also riding towards them, collided with their motorcycle a few metres from Dormabin.

“The collision caused us to fall to the ground,” he said.

Mr Mamore said he sustained serious injuries in the accident and was transported on a motorcycle to the Dormabin Health facility, where he received treatment and later taken back to Atsigodi Kofe for a traditional bone setter to attend to his injuries.

He expressed appreciation to people who assisted him and his brother after the accident and appealed to motorists and motorcyclists to exercise greater caution on rural roads.

He urged road users to avoid reckless riding and observe road safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Meanwhile, Police source indicates the incident is under investigation.
