Accra, Aug. 3, GNA– The Pan-African Leadership Institute (PALI) has appointed three Deputy Global Ambassadors for the United Kingdom, Botswana and Mozambique to strengthen its international leadership network and advance its mission of promoting servant leadership across Africa and the diaspora.
The newly appointed Deputy Global Ambassadors are Dr. Florence Adjapong for the United Kingdom, Mr. Lazarus Diphetogo Lekgoanyana for Botswana, and Mr. Ventura Fernando Mufume for Mozambique.
A statement issued in Accra by the Institute said the appointments formed part of the PALI’s strategy to deepen its presence across Africa and the diaspora while expanding its leadership development programmes and strategic partnerships.
The PALI said the appointments reflected its commitment to advancing the philosophy of Ubuntu, “I am because you are,” through a global network of leaders dedicated to serving their communities and contributing to Africa’s renaissance.
The Institute noted that the Deputy Global Ambassadors would work closely with existing Global Ambassadors to promote the PALI’s programmes, strengthen alumni engagement and identify opportunities that support leadership development across the continent and beyond.
Dr. Florence Adjapong, the Deputy Global Ambassador for the United Kingdom, is an Administrative Executive and Chief Executive Officer with more than 15 years of experience leading OLC Europe Ltd and Ebenezer Community College in London.
She has represented her organisations on television and radio platforms, championing education, leadership and community development while promoting the values of service, excellence and integrity.
Mr. Lazarus Diphetogo Lekgoanyana, the Deputy Global Ambassador for Botswana, is a Branch Manager at Trans Wholesale, a church elder and political activist with more than 36 years of leadership experience.
According to the PALI, he has mentored and led thousands of people through various platforms and remains committed to community development and servant leadership.
Mr. Ventura Fernando Mufume, Deputy Global Ambassador for Mozambique, is a Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant and Chair of the Board of the Mozambican Association for Monitoring and Evaluation.
He has led more than 2,000 people and established a professional association with over 300 members while championing community development, youth engagement and church planting initiatives.
The PALI said the appointments demonstrated the calibre of leaders joining its expanding global network and their shared commitment to advancing transformational leadership rooted in Ubuntu.
The Institute said it currently has alumni in more than 54 countries, creating a growing network of professionals committed to equipping holistic, entrepreneurial and conscientious leaders.
It expressed confidence that the expanded ambassadorial network would further strengthen collaboration, inspire community transformation and deepen the PALI’s impact across Africa and the global diaspora.
