Techiman (Bono East), July 23, GNA – Mr Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Techiman South Constituency in the Bono East Region, has commissioned a fully equipped laboratory for the Bamiri Health Centre.
He also presented vital medical devices and equipment to enhance quality healthcare delivery in the area.
Speaking at a ceremony at Bamiri, Mr Korsah said he funded the construction of the facility through his share of the MP’s Common Fund to improve the health status of residents and address emerging healthcare needs of communities.
The MP said he had prioritised quality healthcare and pledged to continue investing in the provision of health infrastructure in the constituency.
He said similar facilities would be constructed in other deprived communities to improve access to healthcare services.
Nana Asare Baffour, Chief of Bamiri, expressed appreciation to the MP, noting that the facility would help save lives and improve the general well-being of the people.
He described the laboratory as a major boost to healthcare delivery in the area, saying it was a positive step towards reducing patient referral
