Accra, July 13, GNA – Rev. Dr. Albert S. L. Kitcher has launched a three-volume publication titled The Minister and His Ministry, aimed at equipping ministers, theological students and church leaders with practical knowledge to strengthen Christian leadership and ministry.
The publication draws on the author’s 32 years of pastoral experience and addresses the practical realities of church leadership, ministry administration, conflict resolution, and spiritual development.
Speaking at the launch in Accra, Rev. Dr. Kitcher said the books were written to bridge the gap between theological knowledge and the day-to-day responsibilities of ministry.
He expressed confidence that the publication would become a valuable resource for theological institutions, pastors and aspiring ministers seeking practical guidance in church leadership.
The first volume, The Minister and His Ministry, explores the foundational principles of Christian ministry, emphasising that lasting ministry is built not only on spiritual gifts but also on grace, divine calling and the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
The second volume examines the structure of church leadership, discussing ministry offices, spiritual gifts, and the leadership responsibilities entrusted to the Church.
According to the author, understanding these principles is essential for ministers to effectively steward their calling and lead their congregations.
The third volume focuses on divine healing, tracing God’s healing work from the Old Testament through the ministry of Jesus Christ and the early Church, while highlighting healing as an integral part of the Christian faith.
Rev. Dr. Kitcher said the publication also addresses practical challenges ministers encounter, including conflict management and effective leadership, making it relevant to both experienced and emerging church leaders.
He expressed the hope that the books would contribute to stronger and more effective ministry by providing practical biblical insights that can be applied in churches and Christian institutions.
The three-volume publication is expected to serve as a reference material for theological colleges and ministry training institutions, as well as Christians seeking a deeper understanding of biblical leadership and ministry.
